Elwick. – This week’s meeting was an interclub evening with Sedgefield YFC, on the beach at Seaton Carew, where we split into two teams and had a game of rounders in the sun, after which many members went for a paddle in the sea, or a swim in some cases.
Many thanks go to Sedgefield for hosting a fun evening. Well done to all members who competed at Northern Area field day last Saturday. Alice Bird came second in the junior novelty judging. Katie Sanderson and Alice Bird came second in junior farm safety. The junior tug of war team, which included Rebecca Appleton and Katie Sanderson, was third.
David Grieves was part of the men’s tug of war team, which came second. Tickets are available for our American-themed ceilidh on July 4, at 7.30pm, at Stotfold Manor Farm, Elwick.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, and £6.50 for children. Half of the proceeds will go to Pansy’s Breast Cancer Care Support. Americanthemed fancy dress is optional.

Sedgefield. – Last week’s meeting was an interclub games night with Elwick, where members enjoyed a game of rounders on the beach followed by a dip in the sea. All members enjoyed the evening. Next week’s meeting is a trip to Splash at Stockton; meet at Sedgefield at 6.30pm or at Splash at 6.45pm. Can the members return the free swim forms on the night.
