Elwick. – This week’s meeting was a talk by Philip Walker on stock judging. He gave us tips on how to tell whether an animal is ready for the butcher.

Sedgefield. – Last week, members enjoyed a trip, with a pie and peas supper, to the Yard of Ale Brewery, Ferryhill.

Members who want to go karting should pay a £10 deposit to Savannah or Luke as soon as possible. Good luck to members who are taking part in the county sheep judging on Sunday.
