Good luck to all County
Durham competitiors at the
Royal Show this weekend.
Elwick. - This week's meeting
was sausage making at
Dropswell Farm Shop. Everyone
had a great time creating
their sausages, from making
them to stringing them up afterwards.
Well done to Robert
Watson, who made the best
sausages, and to Jackie Sturrock,
whose sausages weren't
quite so good, but tried hard. A
barbecue was then held where
we got to try the sausages.
Thanks go to Jill, Trevor and
Paul, for showing and helping
us making the sausages and
then for the barbecue after.
Everyone had a fun night.
Good luck to all those members
who are competing at the
Royal Show, to the cookery
team, Alice Bird, Katie Sanderson
and Katherine Berry who
are competing tomorrow. Also
to those members who have
static exhibits here. Let's hope
it isn't as wet as last year. Last
Friday night, we held our
ceilidh and barbecue. Everyone
had a fantastic night,
dancing and socialising.
Thanks go to everyone who
helped organise it and for
everyone who helped make
the night a success. As it is
summer, we will be having our
meetings fortnightly. There is
no meeting next week, the next
meeting is in two weeks' time
and is rounders; meet outside
the WI Hall at 7.30pm. For

club, contact Corinne
Hutchinson on 07795-246587
