THE Durham Times celebrates its second anniversary this week – and continues to go from strength to strength.

The simple truth, of course, is that its success is down to you, the readers, whose appetite for local news and views has been behind our growth.

Interestingly, an email conversation this week with a local group revealed the body felt a little left out of our coverage, feeling their news would not be welcomed – all such feelings put right. This is the paper for you, your city, your village, your county – and if ever you want to be included, we’re only ever a phone call away.
