No sympathy

Sir, – I read about Daniel Earl from Yarm, near Stockton, who took part in a bull run in Spain and was gored by a bull.

I hope he is not looking for sympathy. It was his own stupid fault along with his friends or should I say fiends.

All I can say is good luck to the bulls. More instances like this might bring this barbaric practice to an end. Doctors and scientists have came a long way, but I doubt they will ever discover a cure for stupidity.
