  Sir, – In his letter of May 10, Alan Paily of Pity Me stated he was disappointed there was no literature for any candidate from the Green Party or the Independent group. Well I don’t know Mr Paily’s address in Pity Me, but the Independent candidates distributed 6,500 leaflets throughout the Framwellgate Moor, Newton Hall and Pity Me area.
