Johnny Vaughan believes he's been lucky that his career has lasted so long.

The former Big Breakfast star, 46, is set to present a daily show on Absolute Radio, themed around the Olympics.

"I'm on my third glorious decade. I've worked with some top people and I've learnt a lot," the former Capital Breakfast host said.

"Radio is one of the few things you come into from television thinking you know it all, and then realise you've still got a lot to learn.

"I've worked with some great people in telly, so that's been a nice thing. That's where I've been really lucky - I managed to get some cracking producers at the right time, really great people."

:: Johnny Vaughan will be on Absolute Radio every day from 5pm throughout the Olympics.
