Lessons in litter

Jenny Deacon, 14, pictured with Lorraine McCabe from Harrow Environmental Health Services, was one of the students from Whitmore High School in Porlock Avenue who learned first hand about the consequences of dropping litter during a special assembly on Tuesday (January 23). Council workers explained that litter attracts rats and causes potential dangers to pets and wildlife.
