A MYSTERY County Durham man achieved an Olympic gold all of his own after banking a £1m lottery win on the night of the opening ceremony.

The EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle winner, who is known only as Mr R, played online during a one-off EuroMillions event to mark the Games in which 100 millionaires were created in the UK.

Leave Mr R alone as he obviously wants his privacy or does such press intrusion only apply to national rags?

Good luck to Mr R. Beware the fair weather friends that will no doubt surface.

As for identifying who it is, that is up to Mr R himself. We the public don't want or need to know.

If Mr R wants to be identified then thats up to him, dont ask people to contact if they know him. Not that true friends or family would do that anyway!
