Jonny Gwynne, a leisure officer at Freeman's Quay Leisure Centre, in Durham, was called up to serve in Afghanistan just over a year after joining the Territorial Army. Rifleman Gwynne, based in Kabul, served as part of a force protection platoon with the Royal Logistics Corps. Here are a selection of photos from his tour of Afghanistan.
