DONE DEAL: Ex-Villa defender Carlos Cuellar
SUNDERLAND have completed the signing of Spanish centre-half Carlos Cuellar.
Cuellar joins as a free agent after his previous contract at Aston Villa expired in the summer, and has signed a two-year contract at the Stadium of Light.
The 30 year-old will be reunited with former manager Martin O'Neill, four years after the current Black Cats boss took him to Aston Villa from Rangers.
The Madrid-born defender made 94 Premier League appearances for Villa.
