In the Durham Coast League, last year’s champions Boldon CA returned to the top of the table after becoming the first to win two games in what has been a rain-affected start to the season for most clubs.
Four of the six matches ended in stalemate, with Seaham Harbour the only other winners, defeating Seaham Park. Peter Hambleton (5-16) sent the Park packing for just 80 and it was an eight-wicket success for Harbour
