Lyons skipper confident club's ready for premier league

New Warmseal Durham Senior League champions Hetton Lyons lost their NEPL status in 2006, just one year after promotion, but skipper Shaun Birbeck is confident they will be ready this time: “Our aim is to bring in two or three new faces, and a Durham player - we didn’t do that last time and it cost us, but valuable lessons were learned.’’ Lyons end their current stay in the DSL with a home match against Whitburn - a game that had much more riding on it just five days ago.
