WHITBURN host the Durham Senior League T20 Finals tomorrow.
Castle Eden and Boldon take centre stage for the first semi-final at 11am, followed by the hosts locking horns with Eppleton at 2pm.
The winners meet in the final, which is scheduled for a 5pm start.
There is another round of crucial league matches today, with the two championship favourites taking on opposition from the lower reaches of the table.
Unchanged leaders Boldon travel to rock-bottom Marsden, the home team having to do without their injured skipper Chris Mann for the rest of the season, as Felling tackle a Durham side missing Marc Hopkinson, Ben Wilson and Danielle Hazell, although Subhan Christudas returns.
■ Evenwood’s hopes of securing the runners-up position in the Durham County League have been hit with four key players on holiday. Youngsters will be given their head, led by promising seamer Robert Maddison, in the game at Tudhoe.
Esh Winning are without suspended Ryan Moralee but are otherwise at full-strength for the home game against Brandon, who have Jamie Robinson back.
■ In the Durham Coast League, leaders Boldon CA travelling to second-placed Bill Quay knowing victory would virtually assure them of the championship.
Both are at full-strength, with Paul Bentham and Shaun Smith back in the home dressing room, and Ian Bellerby and Andy O’Connell boosting Boldon.
At the opposite end of the table, Washington are without David Ebdale, but Phil Hooper and Mark Nelson return for the home match against bottom club Peterlee, who have seven players missing.
