TEN-year-old Emily Attwood, on her pony Howen Flintoff, excelled at the July competition of the Foxholm Dressage Series.
Not only did she win both Prelim tests, she won the pick-a-test class with 70 per cent on her first attempt at Novice level.
Debbie Stephenson was second on her homebred mare Incognito. Jackie Watson took second place in the Prelim 10 class riding Kitty, and Lynne Olive riding Lady Jane Grey were runners-up in the Prelim 7 class. Emily's wins put her well in the lead for the junior points championship.
John Grant and Foxholm Andrioso are current senior leaders with Wendy Hanley and Willow hot on their heels. With two more competitions left, it is a close contest for the championship sash and trophy and the price of a free dressage lesson.
