With the Labour party having gained slender control of the new County Durham unitary authority, what are your thoughts on the new council? Is Labour the right choice? Will the narrow margin of their majority be a positive thing in that it will provide strong debate? Or will it leave the new body struggling for identity?
Given that a 'unitary council' was forced on the people of Durham I think we are all about to experience total chaos and confusion and a 'poor' council delivering even 'poorer' services.
